All though I started hiking from very early on, Berg Adventures was only established in 2015. Our main aim is to share the love of the Drakensberg and hiking with like minded people.
Berg Adventures offers professional guiding in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Okhahlamba Drakensberg Mountain Range and KZN Midlands. Trips are usually multi-day hikes into the High Berg or could be just an overnight trip for first time hikers, wanting to experience hiking for the first time. We have a range of standard trips to choose from or we can tailor make a hiking trip to suit your needs.

Registered with the National Department of Tourism (KZN 1945).
MDT (Mountain Development and Training Trust) accredited for advanced mountain walking leadership (1611)
Level 3 First Aid with Wilderness first aid

•Eco conscious. The products that we promote actively participate in programs that are beneficial to the environment and try to limit their own footprint as much as possible.
•Conservation. Natural heritage is conserved with programs that protect and restore our nature in both wilderness areas as well as on our own front door.
•Cultural heritage is protected and cultural traditions are respected.
•Fair working conditions. All products adhere to a policy of fair working conditions that are non-discriminatory.
•Communities. We aim to use local guided and porters so as to give them access to the tourism market so that they too can improve living conditions.
