The Owl and Elephant is a beautiful and tranquil lodge that overlooks the Bushmans River, which originates in the Drakensberg. The lodge is just 40 minutes drive from the majestic Central Drakensberg which offers guided hiking trails, helicopter rides, hot air balloon trips, and golf, to mention but a few.
The Owl and Elephant Lodge offers a variety of guest rooms, each tastefully furnished. Each room features an en suite, a TV, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The lodge currently has a few on-site activities including a pool table, darts, fishing and a trampoline and swings in the play-area for the kids. There’s also a pond where guests could fish for fun. We believe in catch and release fishing.
Optional full English breakfasts and light lunches are available during the week and on the weekends the lodge has an a la carte menu. The lodge also offers a fully licenced bar.
